No numpad, still a menu
Insert opens the same tree. Mouse Keys are a last resort because they fight camera look.
Function-key rows sometimes hide Insert behind Fn. Try Fn+Insert, then rebind inside the overlay. External numpad keyboards work and keep the defaults. Do not enable Mouse Keys on day one; they fight camera look and invent a second cursor problem.
Laptops with aggressive iGPU overlay stacks (manufacturer hotkeys, Xbox Game Bar) should disable those first. Then follow attach order. Desktop 64-bit Windows remains the support line — a Steam Deck session is not documented here. Full map: hotkeys.
