Social Club, then attach
Sign into Social Club first. If the launcher verifies files, that is the game. The overlay should already live in your user folder.
Start the official launcher, boot GTA 5, enter Story Mode, walk a few steps, then run Kiddions as administrator. Putting the overlay inside the game directory is how people create “the launcher ate my trainer” threads.
Rockstar overlay and Social Club notifications can sit on top of a modest tree. Disable extra overlays until the watermark is stable.
