Windows 10 version 22H2 on 64-bit hardware is a documented target. The overlay is a desktop program, not a Store sandbox toy.
Confirm 64-bit in Settings → System → About. If the OS is 32-bit, stop — there is no x86 SKU. Install the x64 Visual C++ runtime, set GTA 5 to borderless, then follow the guide.
Legacy 1909-era machines can still boot the game and still fail the overlay if runtimes are ancient. Update the OS or at least the redistributable before you redownload Kiddions_Modest_Menu_v1.01.zip.
